Well, it’s been 3 days since my sister’s quail were attacked by a predator on my watch. \u00a0(I’m taking care of her animals while she’s on vacation.) The only survivor is a male. \u00a0I brought him home with me to take care of him and give him the fighting chance he deserves. \u00a0I was first surprised he made it thru the day following the attack which happened sometime during the night. \u00a0Then surprised he made it thru the day yesterday, then last night. \u00a0But, here he is, still fighting. \u00a0I continue to feed him and give him water thru a syringe numerous times throughout the day in an attempt to keep him nourished and hydrated, so his little body can heal. \u00a0I look forward to the day the swelling in his eyes subsides, although I have no clue whether or not he’ll ever see again, I’m hopeful he will.<\/p>\n
