Well, as I suspected, the Silkie hatch didn’t go well:(  What is it about that breed?  If anyone can chime in on their experiences hatching Silkies or if you know why they are difficult to hatch successfully, I would love to hear about it.

We did have 1 lil cutie hatch, but she’s not doing very well at all.  She has a bad leg. I’m trying to fix her but I’m not too convinced I can:(

Today I set up the incubator again to start some new clutches!  This time I will be incubating, Serama Bantams, some unknown chicken breeds from a friend’s farm whose birds all free range and some Quail eggs.
