How many of you enjoy deviled eggs for Easter? I know we do in my family, it’s tradition. Here’s a very cute and creative way that is sure to “Oooh and Awww” your guests.
Directions:
Hard boil eggs as usual, cool, then cut the pointed end off, you will have to go about 1/3 of the way down to have enough room to dig out the yolk. Then dig out your yolk and make your deviled filling the way you like it. Overfill the wide end with the filling. I use pieces of black olives or moistened black pepper shaped into balls (because I like black pepper on my eggs) for the eyes and little bits of carrot cut into triangles for the beak. Top with the pointed end of the egg white and now you have cute little hatching deviled egg chicks! So fun, so easy and a great way to cook with your kids too!
